For optimum use of Semana, you can integrate the application into your Google environment. This integration will enable you to synchronize your users as well as your calendars.
1. Setting up integration.
To activate Google integration, go to Admin > Integrations.
By clicking on Connect in the Google brick, you'll need to enter a service account key.
To generate this key, please follow this procedure: Technical Documentation - Google.
Please note that the person generating the key must be an administrator of the Google environment, in order to have the necessary rights.
2. Collaborator provisioning.
By activating the Collaborator provisioning option, all collaborators in your Google environment will be imported into Semana.
Note that there is no filtering for Google provisioning, so all collaborators will be imported into the tool. Furthermore, there can only be one source of provisioning, so if provisioning to an HRIS is already active, it will not be possible to provision your employees from the Google space.

3. Calendar integration.
Another aspect of Google integration is the ability to link Semana to Google Calendar. This integration will enable you to check status directly in Google Calendar and book your meeting rooms directly from Semana.
A. Status synchronization.
This synchronization allows you to bring up the statuses entered in your Semana directly in your Google Calendar. The status can be displayed in two different ways:
- Via the All day option.
- Via the Workplace option.
For the "All day" version, Semana will create an event for the day based on your status information.
If you ever make a half-day reservation, Semana will create two "All day" events, the first with the morning status, the second with the afternoon status.
For the "Workplace" version, Semana will automatically fill the Workplace option in your Google calendar with the statuses present in your Semana.
Please note that for this method to work, the Workplace feature must be active in your Google environment.
B. Meeting room synchronization.
Once your calendars are synchronized, you can import your meeting rooms directly into Semana. This means your employees can book them in both Google and Semana, with both tools synchronized in real time.
