This guide will quickly show you how to install the Google integration.
The purpose of this integration is to allow provisioning of collaborators from Google to Semana. This way, new collaborators registered in Google Workspace will be added directly to Semana and those who are removed will have their Semana account suspended.
Installation of the Google Integration.
In the "Settings", go to the "Integration" tab and select the "Google" application.
You will then be redirected to a portal informing you that edit your Google Calendar and receive information from your Google Workspace.
Click on "Allow" to start the integration.
To disable the integration, go to Semana and click Logout. If you disable the integration, the events already synchronize won't disappear.
The Benefits of Integration.
Once enabled, click on Settings to set up user and calendar synchronization. With calendar synchronization, every event entered in Semana will be reported into your Google Calendar.
About the synchronization of the collaborators, Semana will use the one in your Google Workspace for its provisioning. All collaborators that aren't on the workspace will be suspended after the synchronization.
Please note that if you have chosen provisioning via Lucca, you will receive an error message when trying to synchronize collaborators. There can only be one provisioning.
