By default, status reservations in Semana are made for the day. However, if the option is activated in your space, you can make half-day reservations.
1. Booking via calendar.
To make a half-day booking, select a day in your week. You will then have the option of switching from full-day to half-day booking via the switch at the top right of your booking window.
Your booking window will then be divided into two parts: one for the morning and one for the afternoon. You can then choose a different status for the two periods of the day.
Finally, you can also set up half-days based on your weekly preferences.
2. Booking via the floor plan.
As with the calendar, you can make a half-day reservation from the floor plan. When you select an office, you'll see a “half-day” switch in the reservation window on the right-hand side of your screen.
This choice will be reflected on the floor plan. In fact, if the office is only booked for the morning, the left-hand part of the circle will be the only part filled with the employee's photo. Similarly, if only the afternoon is booked, then the right-hand part of the office will be filled.
If the employee decides to come to the office in the morning and in the afternoon, but at different places, he'll have two buttons allowing him to access the two different places in order to find his way around the map.
3. Integration of calendars and half-days.
If your Semana space is synchronized with your Google or Microsoft calendar, half-day information will be transmitted. The morning status covers until noon, the afternoon status until midnight.

Finally, if Slack integration is active for your space, the ability to book half-days directly from your Slack environment will be available.
