There are different ways to manage your collaborators in Semana. Among these solutions, the most reliable is provisioning. In fact, it consists in retrieving information external to Semana and using it as a source of truth. This is made possible by integrating Semana with other tools.
1. Source of provisioning
When setting up some integrations, you can see that it is possible to enable user synchronisation. To do so, you just have to check the "User Synchronization" box.
This way, each time the two tools synchronize, the list of collaborators will be updated. Thus, collaborators present only in your HRIS will be added to Semana and collaborators present only in Semana will be suspended.
It is possible to enable the user provisionning with the following software :
- Microsoft
- Slack
- Eurecia
- BambooHR
2. Management of provisioned collaborators.
When a collaborator comes from a provisioning, it is not possible to modify his first and last name, his email address or his status. You can distinguish a provisioned employee from an employee who is not via the Provisioned column:
- If it is Yes, then he is provisioned.
- If not, a No will be displayed.
It is possible to deactivate the provisioning of a collaborator. To do so, you just have to change the provisioning from "Yes" to "No" in the collaborator edition menu (the pencil icon). Once the provisioning is deactivated, it becomes possible to modify the information related to a collaborator without the latter being suspended at the next synchronization.
